Vacancy
- on the Board of Directors for
the Jenny Lind Veteran Memorial District
The Jenny Lind Veteran Memorial District (JLVMD) announces a vacancy for
the position of Director on the JLVMD Board of Directors to complete a vacant
term, which will stand until the first Friday in December of 2013.
A prospective applicant must be a registered elector and a veteran
residing within the District. The
process will proceed as follows:
Beginning Monday interested
parties may pick up an application from the Jenny Lind Veterans Memorial
District business office between 8:00 am and 1:00 pm, Monday-Thursday.
Upon request applications can also be e-mailed.
Applications will be accepted until 1:00 pm on Monday, October 4th, 2010.
Applications will be reviewed and candidates will be invited to speak and
answer questions at the next public board meeting scheduled Tuesday, October
12th at 9:00 am. At that time, the
Board expects to appoint and seat the new member for the remainder of the
meeting.
